About the Hopebridge Foundation

Founded in 2017, the Hopebridge Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is tax deductible to the extent by law. Hopebridge Foundation is currently funded and managed by friends, families and therapists of individuals with special needs.

Individuals with special needs (specifically those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders) require extra care, financial support and resources. Traditional avenues of funding are often inadequate and individuals in desperate need are often left to do without beneficial resources or services.

It is well documented that funding and focus for autism have remained centered on helping younger children and their families. Meanwhile, everyday children are transitioning into adulthood without many options for the future. They are often as smart as or smarter than their peers, but they go to college in far fewer numbers. They are even less likely to attend college or participate in vocational programs than people with most other disabilities.

The Hopebridge Foundation recognized that there was a major gap in support and assistance among adolescents with ASD and established its mission to advocate for this underserved population of individuals.
