What is Speech Therapy?

The job of Hopebridge’s licensed speech and language pathologists and SLP assistants is to teach our kiddos how to communicate what they want in a way that can be understood by others. This ranges from developing oral motor control to make sounds and words, all the way to participating in conversations to create meaningful relationships. We also offer augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for children who may need a different way to find their voices. It all starts with a Speech Evaluation.

You might have questions about insurance coverage for autism therapy services. Hopebridge families have more than one path to obtain the care they need. Available coverage options include:

• Commercial Health Insurance
  We accept a vast range of commercial insurance plans and work to constantly expand our relationships. Plus, our Care and Benefits Coordinators help facilitate the autism treatment coverage available through your plan.
• Medicaid
  Accessible care is part of our core vision, which is why we participate in Medicaid. If a child qualifies for Medicaid and the plan covers outpatient therapy, Hopebridge will bill for services on your behalf whether as a Primary or Secondary payer.
