  to support our clients with their augmentative and alternative communicat
 ion (AAC) goals. This presentation will discuss both scope of practice and
  scope of competence when it comes to AAC. We will review our ethical code
  and how it can apply to AAC and our clients. We will also cover some best
  practice strategies and talk about what a referral for a comprehensive AA
 C assessment could look like. Finally\, we will explore common barriers to
