DESCRIPTION:CE Credit: 1 CE\n\nEvent Description\n\nThe following co-create
 d interdisciplinary presentation is an introductory series on autism and o
 ther comorbid conditions. The presentation will cover Attention-Deficit/Hy
 peractivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. The present
 ers will review diagnostic criteria\, risks/protective factors\, prevalenc
 e\, and implications for treatment.\n\nSpeaker\n\nJana Sarno (She/Her) \,C
 hief Clinical Officer at Hopebridge\, BCBA\, – Doctoral Candidate\nJana 
 Sarno is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with extensive educatio
 nal\, clinical\, and professional development experience in the field of A
 pplied Behavior Analysis. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Western 
 Michigan University (WMU). Following graduation from WMU\, Jana attended T
 he University of Southern Mississippi\, for her PhD.\, in school psycholog
 y. During her time at USM\, she worked with children enrolled in Head Star
 t/Early Head Start\, local school districts\, a multi-disciplinary setting
  for children with communication and developmental disorders\, and the USM
  School Psychology Clinic.\n\nAfter her time at USM\, Jana completed a yea
 r-long internship at the Marcus Autism Center\, a NIH Autism Center of Exc
 ellence in Atlanta\, GA. While at Marcus\, Jana received intensive clinica
 l experience in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior\, 
 verbal behavior\, and feeding disorders. Jana has held clinical leadership
  positions at several in-home\, school\, and clinic-based ABA organization
 s. Along with her work at Hopebridge and AIM Clinics\, Jana volunteers on 
 the Board of Directors for the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis 
 (ILABA). In her work with ILABA\, Jana chairs the Legislative Affairs Comm
 ittee that focuses on governmental relationships\, grassroots advocacy\, a
 nd increasing access to ABA through legislative change.\n\nNOTE – INTERN
