DESCRIPTION:Prior to opening to the general public\, the museum will be ope
 n for a Sensory-Friendly event. Sensory Friendly Day begins at 9 a.m. You 
 are welcome to stay as long as you wish\, however the museum will open to 
 the public at noon on Sensory Friendly Day\, and sensory-friendly activiti
 es will not be available after 1 p.m.\n\nTrained museum educators and volu
 nteers will be stationed around the museum with specially designed interac
 tive activities to create a meaningful experience at each exhibit.\n\nSoci
 al Narratives and maps are available for download on our website prior to 
 your visit. Visual supports\, such as schedules and sensory-friendly maps 
 will be available to help guide individuals through their preferred routes
 . Quiet/Calm down spaces will be available throughout the museum and highl
 ighted on the provided venue map. Several sensory-friendly items will be a
