DESCRIPTION:Every year in April\, Autism Evansville hosts the“Taking Step
 s for Autism Walk &amp\; 5K”.\n\nThis is their largest fundraising event
 \, and they welcome corporate and personal sponsorships\, as well as volun
 teer opportunities. Families across seven counties affected by autism come
  together to walk\, run\, and socialize in a relaxed\, supportive environm
 ent.\n\nWe counted our steps\, and in April 2023\, we took over *one milli
 on steps* for autism awareness and acceptance in the Tri-State!\n\nHopebri
