 givers\nMultiple barriers exist that limit access to necessary healthcare 
 for individuals with developmental disabilities. One significant barrier i
 nvolves an individual's ability to tolerate a medical examination. The lit
 erature supports effective interventions such as differential reinforcemen
 t and desensitization. In order to implement effective intervention\, it i
 s critical for behavior analysts to collaborate with medical professionals
 . In this presentation\, interdisciplinary approaches to teach tolerance o
 f medical procedures for a child with ASD will be discussed through a case
  presentation. The presentation also includes discussion of key components
  of the strategies to maximize the outcomes for individuals receiving trea
