Here’s a stop on Alternative Baseball’s first ever BARNSTORMING FOR EMPOWERMENT tour!
On October 29th, 2022, the general public is invited to experience a full afternoon of local history in the making; an experience that will go down in History as one to forever champion empowerment and encouragement of the true capabilities of individuals with disabilities. For the first time ever in Paulding County as part of the inaugural West Georgia Empowerment and Engagement Tour, a team of baseball players with disabilities will work together alongside community leaders and “celebrity” figures in one thrilling spookfest of a baseball game… all to champion awareness, acceptance, and empowerment for the societal inclusion of people with disabilities!
Those attending (players, visiting guests) are asked to put on their best Halloween costume! Maybe we’ll see Elvis that night too… Who knows? Just don’t wear anything provocative… it’s still a family show.
