In its inaugural year of formation, PRABA is hosting its first conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico on July 23-24th, 2022. Join us either in-person in beautiful Puerto Rico or virtually for this bilingual, hybrid event!
We are excited to have our colleagues from the continental United States joining us for this event as well as our behavior analyst colleagues from Puerto Rico sharing their experiences in delivering ABA in the island.

- Invited Speakers: Dr. Haydee Toro, Dr. Kelly Schieltz, Dr. Matt O’Brien, Dr. Patricia Kurtz, Dr. Carmen Arvizu, Dr. Iris Pons, Norielys Pons, Dagmar Torres, Dr. Ethel Rios Arroyo, and Marta Riviere
Who should attend? We welcome professionals, students, parents, and anyone interested in behavior analysis in Puerto Rico, from science to practice.
The proceeds from the conference will be used to build PRABA and our initiatives. These are some of PRABA’s goals for the next few years:
- To incorporate as a nonprofit organization in Puerto Rico
- To create a website that disseminates information to the burgeoning ABA community in PR and work towards having a cohesive and united professional community in the island
- To help with advocacy efforts for licensure and insurance coverage for ABA
- To fund a mentorship program so we can guide professionals who want to become RBTs, BCaBAs, BCBAs, etc.
- To provide scholarships for people wanting to take their coursework
