Shannon feels the best part of her job is seeing a child learn a new skill, overcome an obstacle, or do anything else that improves their quality of life. “The area of my job that interests me most is teaching functional language skills to children with limited language and also helping them overcome behavioral barriers,” she said. When she is not at work, Shannon enjoys being with her friends and family and doing all things outdoors including biking, boating and campfires.
