Get to know the diagnostician you’ll meet at your upcoming virtual Hopebridge appointment. An autism evaluation may feel overwhelming, but we have a team of experts ready to answer your questions.

Hi, my name is Dr. Anne Boothe, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist here at Hopebridge. I will be conducting your child’s autism evaluation, and I really look forward to meeting with you. I wanted to connect beforehand to provide you with some helpful information. For our evaluation appointment, I will complete it in two parts.
For the first part, we’ll talk about your concerns, your child’s development, and their strengths. Then for the second part of the assessment, I will observe them and I will also conduct formal assessment measures to learn about how they communicate and play. We will work together for this part to make sure I’m getting the best information that I can.
Prior to your appointment, you should have received an email from our patient portal called the HB Portal, and this is where you will complete our consent forms and new patient paperwork ahead of your appointment. You will also have received email emails from a website called Q Global. Here you will complete questionnaires about your child’s development.
I do need both of those things, the new patient paperwork and the questionnaires completed before our appointment. Also, on the day of our appointment, I want to be able to see your child in person, in their typical functioning. So please try to make sure they get a good night’s sleep, have breakfast, and take their medications as usual if they do take medication.
Also, I want you to be able to feel comfortable being open and honest with me on the day of our appointment. So please log in from a private location that’s free from distraction. I am looking forward so much to meeting with you, and ahead of your appointment, I will provide you with another email that has more specific information, as well as a link to our virtual appointment.
We do use Microsoft Teams, so please make sure you have that application downloaded ahead of time. Thank you so much for putting your trust into me and to Hopebridge, and I really look forward to meeting with you. See you soon.
Quick Tips for Your Appointment
- Make sure all paperwork and assessments are complete prior to the appointment.
- Prep your kiddo with a good night’s sleep and normal schedule.
- Download Microsoft Teams, where the meeting will take place.
