“It Began With A Real Need”
The founder and clinical director of Hopebridge, Kim Strunk, experienced a defining moment when working with First Steps. As children grew out of the First Steps age range and programming, there was no place for them to go to continue therapy. So, after nine years of clinic-based, early-intervention practice, the dynamic, energetic former occupational therapist drew upon her extensive experience and many resources and created that place, Hopebridge. Hopebridge is an environment for children of all ages that offers highly-trained therapists in multiple disciplines and whose passion is providing hope and support to families living with a child with a disability.
Although a native of Indianapolis, Kim now resides in Greentown, IN. She is a wife and mother of three children and during personal time likes to be with her family, travel, and read.
“Starting a new business is challenging, yet I felt so strongly about these needs being met, that things fell into place quickly. We have grown consistently ever since, adding new services and programming as become necessary. Now, Hopebridge provides a wide range of \services designed to treat children requiring behavioral diagnosis, ABA therapy, physical, occupational, feeding, and speech treatments in both home and school settings. Nothing pleases me more than seeing children improve and helping to minimize a family’s stress level.”
