Here’s a stop on Alternative Baseball’s first ever BARNSTORMING FOR EMPOWERMENT tour!
On October 1st, 2022, the general public is invited to experience a full afternoon of local history in the making; an experience that will go down in History as one to forever champion empowerment and encouragement of the true capabilities of individuals with disabilities. For the first time ever in Floyd County as part of the inaugural West Georgia Empowerment and Engagement Tour, a team of local Atlanta-area baseball players with disabilities will work together alongside community leaders and “celebrity” figures in a never-before-seen 7-inning exhibition at Rome High School’s Legion Field at Heritage Park in Rome. all to champion awareness, acceptance, and empowerment for the societal inclusion of people with disabilities!
