Therapy group for children with ADHD and autism.

For kids that have challenges with executive functioning (e.g., organization, impulse control, emotional regulation, problem-solving)

A high-functioning autism and or ADHD diagnosis is required to participate.

What to Expect at Brain Builders Club

This six-week group will be held in person at our Greensboro location (4510 Premier Dr, High Point, NC 27265) on Tuesdays July 28 – September 1.

Each session kids will participate in interactive games, challenges, and real-life practice designed to make these skills easier to understand—and actually use at home and school. Limited to children between the ages of 8 and 11. This is to ensure participants get the best clinical outcomes during sessions.

Insurance may cover this group therapy. We’ll check your benefits.

What We’ll Work On

Through fun, structured activities, kids will strengthen:

  • Impulse control (inhibition)
  • Planning and organization
  • Problem-solving

Meet your Expert: Dr. Ruth Bernstein

Dr. Ruth Bernstein is a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami, where she specialized in pediatric psychology. She currently serves as the Director of Psychological Services at Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center, overseeing diagnostic services and supporting interdisciplinary clinical teams. Dr. Bernstein is passionate about advancing evidence-based practices for children with developmental and behavioral needs.

A: It depends on your insurance. We’ll check your insurance and explain your benefits before we get your child fully enrolled in the group.

Q: Is this group expert-led?
A: Yes! A licensed psychologist will lead the group.

A: If your child is between 8 and 11 with an official diagnosis of either ADHD or high-functioning autism in the Greensboro area, you should sign your child up.
