Hiking for Autism | North Carolina

On Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 10am-2pm, Camp Lakey Gap will host its 2nd Annual Hiking For Autism event at the beautiful Christmount retreat and conference center in Black Mountain, NC.
This family friendly event includes a one-hour, traditional, guided hike as well as an adaptive hike option for neurodiverse adventurers, through Christmount’s stunning, private trail system.
After hiking, event goers will enjoy a catered lunch, live entertainment and raffle.
Hiking For Autism is one of Camp Lakey Gap’s two, signature fundraising events of the year.
The proceeds directly impact the lives of people with autism and their families by providing scholarships for a one-of-a-kind, week-long residential summer camp experience for autistic children and young adults.
