The Clinical Director provides clinical oversight to ABA services within a center, supports a flex caseload and provides operational support to the center as needed. The Clinical Director oversees the BAF students within their center and acts as a clinical liaison between the center and the Regional BCBA.

- Train, develop, and mentor new BCBAs within center
- In collaboration with the RBCBA, may provide interim support to BCBA’s in center(s) without a Clinical Director
- Provides clinical oversight, consistent with Hopebridge quality standards and evidence-based practices to BCBAs within center
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on clinical KPI’s
- Consult with Regional team on performance
- Monitor clinical program progress
- Act as a liaison to the Regional BCBA for higher level clinical review (i.e., Grand Rounds)
- Supervise and ensure completion of effective, evidence-based individualized treatment plans, behavior support plans and assessments for patients
- Evaluate clinical performance of BCBAs within center via procedural integrity documentation, provide feedback and necessary training, and communicate concerns to Regional BCBA, Center Manager, and Regional Center Manager as appropriate
- In collaboration with Senior Clinician, provide support and guidance for authorization utilization modifications and denials
- Assist Center Manager in patient funnel management for initial evaluation
- Carry a caseload of 2-4 patients and/or conduct weekly initial assessments
- Support a transitional caseload as an interim BCBA in the event coverage cannot be obtained
- Provide oversight and support for clinical training of RBT’s in coordination with the Trainer
- Provide interim coverage for Trainer in the event of Trainer absence due to PTO or vacancy
- Oversees BAF program within center in coordination with the ABA Fieldwork Advisor
- Assist in providing restricted and unrestricted supervision for BAF students, including after-hour group supervision as needed
- Communicates with Clinic Manager and acts as a Liaison with the center leadership team regarding patient onboarding, clinical structure within the center (i.e., group schedules) and RBT Training needs
- Assist Center Manager with interviewing and onboarding of new staff
- Ensures that session notes and billing documentation has been submitted through the appropriate systems by specified deadlines
- In collaboration with the Center Manager, assist in the coordination of daily staffing schedule to ensure patient staffing appropriateness
- Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments related to autism, special education, and related fields.

Provides supervision, guidance, and mentorship to BCBAs and BCaBAs within assigned center in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Provide feedback and supervision to RBTs and BAF students, ensuring clinical competence and demonstrated performance of employees.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or closely related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- At least three years certification with the BACB as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or 2 years certification as a BCBA plus at least a minimum of 1000 hours supervision provided under Hopebridge Fellowship Program (in good standing)
- Experience with skills assessments and curricula (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, EFL, AFLS, PEAK) required
- Substantial experience with behavioral assessments (e.g., FBAs and FAs)
- Strong background in behavior reduction program development and oversight
- Meets the BACB qualifications to supervise BCaBAs, those pursuing certification, and RBTs
- Demonstrates ability to supervise and train effectively
- Ability to communicate knowledge in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to professionals and non-professionals
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience providing supervision to BCBAs
- Experience with both Medicaid and private-insurance patients preferred
Other Duties and Job Requirements
- Maintain a negative Tuberculosis screening according to the CDC
- Obtain and possess and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years
- Successful completion and maintenance of the Hopebridge preferred physical management training program
